Monofilament "Medical" Wigs: Monofilament wigs were originally created by a woman experiencing alopecia (or hair loss). Today, these wigs are worn by everyone! Hair prosthesis that uses a monofilament or "multidirectional" cap, allows the hair to move freely the same as natural hair would creating a more realistic and versatile look. These wigs are essentially lighter in weight and breathable. Often times many wigs are combine with a lace front and monofilament to give you complete control over your look.  

NOTE: Each wig will come with 3 combs sewn in the inside and an adjustable strap, except for the Monofilament wigs. The Monofilament wigs are constructed with Polyurethane straps that are placed to allow individuals to use tape/glue to secure the wig. Non-slip material is recommended for Monofilament wigs.

Lace Front Wigs: A hair prosthesis that uses a lace front is a very thin lace lining across the front of the wig that gives the illusion of a natural hairline. This allows for the wearer to be able to part their wig. The front of the wig can be parted into a side bang, middle part, and up into a bun.

Full Lace Wigs: Just as the Lace Front wigs, the lace is sewn at the front of the wig as well as throughout the entire wig cap. Therefore, the wearer is able to part the hair anywhere, not just at the front. In addition, the wearer is able to pull the hair up into a high ponytail and/or updo. This type of cap construction typically lasts longer than Lace Front Wigs.

Silk Base

The silk top consists of a layer of lace, and silk fabric on the top front of the cap. When the hair is knotted, the knots are below the silk concealed between the layers, the hair is then injected through the silk material making the knots 100% invisible giving the illusion that the hair is actually growing out of your scalp. There is no other ventilation technique that creates a more flawless appearance than hidden knots on a silk top, you don't need to bleach the knots, you don't need to worry about any other techniques to make the knots invisible or less visible.

 

Facts:

•  Silk material measures 4" x 4"
• The silk material doesn't cover the entire wig. (You can request a custom full silk lace wig)
• Silk material begins approximately 1/2 to 1 centimeter from from the hairline. (There is 1/2 centimeter of Swiss Lace before the silk top begins)

 

Lace Base

Available in a range of styles, hair types and colors, lace wigs feature a thin, transparent piece of lace mesh around the hairline. Covering the entire head appeals to women looking to give their hair a break from daily manipulation. The lace creates a realistic hairline, allowing the wearer to part the hair in multiple places for a natural look. The wearer must cut the lace to fit her own hairline before securing the wig around the perimeter of the head.

 

When worn correctly, the lace blends with the individual's natural skin tone and creates the illusion that the hair is grown from the scalp. Wearing a lace wig offers versatility in hair styling options.
