What is a Cranial "Wig" Prosthesis?
Hair prostheses or Cranial prostheses is considered Durable Medical Equipment (DME). It is a custom-made wig specifically designed for people with hair loss (Alopecia) due to a medical condition, treatment such as Chemotherapy and Radiation, Trichotillomania and genetics.
