This beautiful Diva fought really hard to have her insurance cover her Full Cranial Prosthesis, however was denied twice even with pictures, letters and medical documentation dating back to 2011. This year instead of a random giveaway, Divine Hair Co. decided to go to Oceanside, California and gift her with her Cranial Prposthesis with added highlights/colored as requested. Her story and strength is amazing. Everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin! The smile when her husband said "Oh baby.. you look... like... I can't even compare it. I love it don't get it wet. Don't mess it up" lol was priceless! She loves her Cyn unit!

"January 2016, I started to notice that I had something on my neck. I was not sure what it was, but I knew I needed to find out soon. Since I was pregnant at the time, it was not much that the doctors could do. Shortly after, I lost my baby. I went under several biopsies to find out what was going on. On top of coping with the loss of my child, I found out that I had Stage 2 Hodgkin Lymphoma. I was not sure how to tell anybody or how to feel. I cried for days straight, but I had to thank my God and baby for both saving my life. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about taking my son home or just not being sick, but I have dried my tears and I thank God every day for giving me a chance to fight."

In 2010, I began to notice lesions forming in the corners of my eyes. Being a social worker and having to present myself in front of coworkers, patients and their families, this was embarrassing. For 3 years, I went to several doctors including Primary Care Physicians, Eye Specialist and other eye doctors trying to find a cure or solution. It just seemed as if the problem was getting worst the more I tried to treat it. No one could tell me what was going on. There were times when doctors shamed me by making it seem like it was my fault that the lesions were forming. Anyone who knows me knows, know that I do not wear make-up, but love to have my eye brows and lashes done. I could not even get these luxury services due to the lesions. In 2013, I finally went to a dermatologist that could help me. He looked at my face and diagnosed me with Discoid Lupus without even doing a test or taking a biopsy of my eye. Since then, I have been lesion free. If there is a flare up, it is taken care of before it gets bad. Recently I tried Microblading-3D Hair Strokes with Divine Hair Co. and I loved it. I feel like I’m back to myself again with thick, full eyebrows and lashes!!!

“In 2011, I found out the tragic news that I was diagnosed with Large B Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which is a form of cancer. After being informed about my diagnosis, I knew that things in my life was about to change, especially my appearance. Once I started chemotherapy, the medicine took a toll on my body and like most people my hair slowly started to fall out. I never really took into consideration how important my hair was to me until it was gone. I had no eyebrows, eyelashes, hair on my head, or anywhere on my body. It made me feel less of a woman. I did not want to see anyone or go anywhere because I did not want to feel judged or for people to have pity for me due to my condition. Now its 2016 and I have been in remission for 4 years! My hair has grown back tremendously and truthfully, a better grade than it was before. Divine Hair Co. is truly something that will now help women that are currently going through hair loss to feel more confident about their circumstances and most importantly, comfortable as a woman.
