Scar Camouflage

Your body produces collagen to reconnect the broken tissues when your skin is injured. Scars may heal raised, concave or discolored. Permanent cosmetics cannot be performed on keloid skin. We offer scar camouflage treatments to reduce the appearance of unwanted scars. Our goal is to help you feel confident and beautiful.

How does scar camouflage treatment work?

We deposit pigment that closely matches our client's natural skin tone. We can also camouflage scars in areas where hair grows, such as the eyebrows, by mimicking the natural fall of hair. This also works for scars on the scalp after an accident or hair transplant procedure.

Precautions

Clients should be aware that treatments are most effective on areas not exposed to sunlight on a regular basis. The skin surrounding the treated area will change color from UV exposure, but the tattooed skin will not change with it. Therefore, we strongly recommend scar camouflage treatments for areas that aren’t exposed to sunlight, such as the breasts after augmentations, reductions, and mastectomies.

Scars must be more than six months old before we can perform the procedure. Lastly, depending on the scar size and color more than one treatment may be necessary.
